Since MY last time in Winnemucca, I always keep a cap, spark plug connector
and rotor in the glove box or frunk.

Not as good as I I thought at the time. Late last night, as I was trying to
go to sleep, I realized that John's rotor had punctured thru, so there was
already a path to ground in there. It's possible that some foil might have
made the desired path, out to the plugs, better, but that path to the
distributor shaft ground was not going away, and it probably would have
gotten slowly worse over time.

I hear John has a couple of good rotors by now, so I trust he and Jill are
on the road again.
