[T3] Warmest head day?

Driving 50 or so on secondary roads.
Im measuring it just above the #1 plug on the head with a thermocouple The
head sensor on the T4 is just above
The #2.

Now im trying to get the AAR to close faster, Ive got enough air for an OK
cold idle speed on startup but it needs to close down much faster than it
does,
I did change its feed source to the alternator lead to give me an extra volt
or so, and that does make a difference but I need a relay to switch it so
its only on with the ignition on.

What kind of driving are you doing for those miles, highway?

I wonder how the D-jet head temp sensor warming affects this. If the heads
start out really cold, the FI might keep the mixture richer for longer,
slowing down engine warmup, since the temp sensor may warm up a bit more
slowly than the hottest parts of the head.

Which raises the question of where are you measuring the temperature?
