Check the air filter. The oil should not be above the "step" in the bottom half 
of the filter housing. When you take the filter apart, never turn the top part 
upside down. If you do, oil will drip into the duct were it will get sucked into 
the IAD next time the engine runs.

You can check for oil collected in the IAD by opening the throttle and 
pushing a stick in there and down toward the bottom, sort of a dipstick. 
There should not be any oil pooled inside the IAD.

Make sure your breather stand nuts are tight, and check to make sure the 
breather box on top is also tight. On your '72, make sure the hose from the 
underside of the breather box to the rear of the IAD is connected and snug 
at both ends.
