Odds are it won't affect any of us, but if you're really worried, there's still plenty of time to fix it.

OTOH, you can make a temporary "fix" by loosening the locknut, then twist the adjusting 
screw back and forth a few times, returning it to its original position, to break up any 
corrosion that might be in there. That fix should hold you for at least a year or three.
