Hello Jeff,

I had my 1966 type fastback interior hood lining sprayed painted some 10 years ago.
It was the original lining however had the yellow stain (from the glue) I was told was the cause of the stain!

Luckily I had the front windscreen and most of the seats, dash padding, door cards out at the time. It turned out much better than I thought ( like new).

I’ve just installed an after market hood lining to my 1970 Single Cab and it was not a great fit and it had to be recut, especially at the nylon rear retainer strip! I didn’t do the job myself however my old school trimmer told me he usually makes his own hood linings to get a better fit!

Good luck,

Ross Clarke (Australia)

I?ve never seen any kits in person and everything looks the same online, so I?m hoping to hear from folks about their good and bad experiences. Personal mail is appreciated (especially for the bad reviews!)
