[T3] Invasion details

Lots to do in Ticonderoga on Friday, we have 2 events scheduled that are
optional but something that I think everyone would enjoy.

Star Trek original series set visit:

Noon on Friday but you can go any time they are open that day or the day
before if you're an early bird.

 

"THE" attraction in Ti of course is the Fort,

Tickets are for TWO consecutive days, so if you're an early bird it can keep
you amused for more than one day, this also includes a token for Mt
Defiance,

Which we will plant to meet at the base at 3:30PM Tokens can be bought at
the gate for $10 for those that choose not to visit the fort.  We may do a
photoshoot up there if weather permits and there is a good spot, as I recall
there is. but I was last up there about 20 years ago.

 

Feeling Crabby?

 

The Crab Shack in Crown point is a well known eatery up there about 15
minutes up Rt 9 north of town,

 

Quick lunches or simple dinners?

 

The windchill factory  on the south of town is excellent, Ive already warned
you about the ice cream cones right?  If you missed that. their smallest
cone is the size of a large, and nobody, I mean NOBODY, has ever conquered
their Large cone and Ive had some Teenagers with large appetites try, and I
don't think its physically possible on a hot day anyway!

 

Right next to the park there is Longshots, never tried it, but good for a
simple meal, Burleighs is right on the corner and always a good eat just a
quick walk from the show.

 

Remember, if you are looking for a part, accessory, fender, whatever Type 3
and want it to show up in the silent auction, let me know by next THURSDAY,
6/13,

Ill be pulling the trailer up next weekend and can haul the bigger stuff to
the camp a few miles from the event.

 

For Caravaner's, if something pops up on the trip that you need, let me know
ASAP before I head up myself on Wed afternoon joining the Midwest caravan,
there is a NAPA and advance auto parts in town For stuff that can be sourced
that way.
