[T3] Production Numbers

I don't think the production numbers will tell you why Notchbacks are lower
in the USA. Notchbacks were not sold in US VW dealers like fastbacks &
square backs. The 1 we have was a lefthand drive delivered to England so my
guess is that a service member ordered it with the intent on bringing it to
the US. VW can tell you the dealer who got it but not history of what
happened after that. Notchs seem to be growing in numbers, there were 8 at
the NW vintage meet 2 years ago so people seem to be bringing them from
Europe.
