[T3] Front Seat Belt options?

I've wondered about that, especially on webbing I've come across that was
damaged. I contacted a company called Ssnake Oyl Products which seemed
likely to do a good job, but they didn't seem able to do the belt end treatment
that VW used, where the end terminates in a plastic loop that fits around the
"bight" of the belt. It's possible that they could do that work, but that they just
didn't understand my question.

[Today's Trivia: Bight, pronounced bite, is the middle part of a rope. In other
words, it does not include either end.]

I've no actual with any work done by Ssnake Oyl Products.

On my own cars, I've always had very good luck just washing and rinsing the
belts, which greatly improves their flexibility and usability. This is most easily
done by removing them from the car, but I've had people who succeded by
leaving the belts installed and doing the washing in situ, in a bucket.
