Our PCA club uses Motorola handheld. Common, economical, and you can get up
to a five-mile range model.

John Jaranson brought a few of those little Walkie Talkie things to the
caravan to the Arizona Invasion. Thanks to one of those, after an hour or so
of driving directly into the late afternoon sun, we got to hear, as our
burned eyeballs arrived at the final destination, Jill shouted, "PRAISE
JESUS!"

They were comforting to have, especially if something unexpected happened.
