[T3] Removing Oil Pump - In car

Hello Type 3 folks,

So, I'm dealing with a low oil pressure issue and have narrowed it down to the pump.  I must have used the wrong gasket or maybe a pump gear is loose.  Is it possible to do this in-car rather than pull the engine?  I'm thinking yes but I'm really not looking forward to it.

Any advise or tips would be greatly appreciated.
