If it's a genuine German Hella, then someone probably installed it carelessly 
at one time and now it's taken a "set" to the warped condition. I'll bet you 
could force it to sit back into the slot and let it sit facing the sun on a hot day, 
perhaps with the lamps energized. That might restore it.

What year? If this is an early taillight, I'd expect those to be stiffer, and 
harder to resurrect.
