Okay, sounds like you got me. I'll pay up at the invasion, but I'll want to see
this in person first. You know, "Trust, but verify!" ;-)

The same thought crossed my mind. Did you drill a small hole in your
pressure regulator like I've suggested to others in the past? Do you have a
fuel pressure gauge? One easy thing to try is to loosen the locknut on the
pressure regulator, twist the adjusting screw back and forth a few times (to
break up the rust that's formed on those threads over the past 54 years,
return the adjuster to its original position, and retighten the locknut.
That's a good temporary fix, but a hole makes it permanent. I'll try to
remember to bring a pre-drilled regulator to the Invasion. Let me know if
you'd like me to mail you one now. There's plenty of time to mail it to you.
I'll also have a fuel pressure gauge with me, as part of my usual Type 3 tool
kit.
