Were getting all the salt washed off the roads here in NY nicely now, so if
they don’t resalt again I may be able to get the Square out this weekend!

Crank for oil pressure and fill up the system again so I can just start and
go when its time.  BTW, our invasion rate at the hotel is $110 right?  Dave
was able to get his
Reservations but Ive been at it for 3 weeks and they cant seem to figure out
whats going on there and the website doesn’t work for the invasion rate at
the host hotel.
Anybody else have trouble with reservations and the group rate?

Holy cow....just under 3 months to go.  How did that sneak up on us so fast?
Time to start ramping up the final Invasion planning and making sure all of
our cars are up for the drive.

Over the next week or so, I will be making several updates to the Invasion
website and putting out requests for t-shirt pre-orders and early-bird and
Saturday dinner "reservations" so that we can get a headcount for each.

Also looking for donations of Type 3 related items  (parts, toys, books,
etc) for the silent auction.

Also folks should start making plans for caravaning out to the Invasion.
That is always half the fun.  Unfortunately, Jill and I have had a bit of a
wrench thrown in our travel plans for Invasion and won't be able to join any
caravan from the east...unless anyone wants to get to Eau Claire on the
Sunday before the Invasion.  Jill's baby brother is getting married on
Wednesday the 24th...in San Antonio, TX!!  It could be worse and the wedding
could be on the weekend of the Invasion.

As it is, we will driving our Type 3s out to Eau Claire on Sunday the 21st.
We will fly down to Texas on Monday morning from Eau Claire.  After the
wedding, we will fly back to Wisconsin on Thursday morning in order to be
back in time for the Early Bird Dinner and the rest of the Invasion.

It is going to be a bit of a whirlwind, but it will all work out.  And we
will be able to caravan back home with some of the folks heading East.

If you are pre-registered for the Invasion, watch for an email from me in
the next few days regarding the t-shirt pre-orders and the info for the
dinners.

Eau Claire or bust!!!
