Hi there
I’ve not been participating much on this forum, because while I still own my ‘69 Square, (altered mechanically from stock), I’ve been busy with other, more expensive projects. But, I would like to offer a second to the applause for Painter’s Grinding in Denver. While Dayton Painter, the eponymous and frequently abrasive machinist who started the shop, has died, his legacy of extraordinary workmanship on all aspects of air cooleds lives on. Yes, Eddie is the transmission dude. I doubt there is anyone better anywhere, here or abroad. I’ve used their high quality work and advice from almost their humble beginnings when Dayton did it all himself. For what it’s worth…
Best
