                                        <td valign="top">I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of Type 3's at the Texas VW Classic<BR>in Fredericksburg, TX on April 18 - 20, 2014.<BR><BR>Of the ~300 cars attending, 2/3rds were Type 1 Bugs & Beetles, most of the<BR>rest were Type 2 Buses, Campers,Westfalias, some single- and double cabs,<BR>etc..<BR>There were 26 classes of entries in the judged show, including 3-wheelers,<BR>sand rails, one rail dragster, one 8 passenger, Ghias, Things, Tub Buggies,<BR>Bajas, etc.<BR><BR>However there were 5 Type 3's.<BR>Two Notches, a Fasty, & two Squares.<BR>There was also one Type 34 and one 1976 Type 4(?) Brasilia from Mexico.<BR><BR>I went to the show hoping the Swap Meet would have some Type 3 parts.  None<BR>in sight.  UGH!<BR><BR>I'm glad I went to the show.   People told me that because of Easter<BR>Weekend, there were only 75% to 80% of the cars which would normally attend.<BR><BR>--
