It confuses parking ticket officers, for starters.</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1434996236060_20042" dir="ltr"> Once, when registered in Maine, I got a parking ticket in Philly for "unknown" car from "MA" (for Massachusetts) which should have been "ME" (for Maine). Unknown car, from the wrong state. Saved $26. <br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1434996236060_20297" dir="ltr"> Maybe that was way back when I also used to hammer out the "VW" on hubcaps to make nice ad-free domes (painted w/ metalic paint), but few think to look at the hubs for ID anyway.<br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1434996236060_20145" dir="ltr"> <br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1434996236060_20173" dir="ltr">I often get asked...first...what Year is it?...then, as after-thought, WHAT is it?
