<DIV>Russ recommended using thermocouples (old or new) with the ends cut on a
taper to fit and squish into each other. According to him, a hot water heater
thermocouple is plenty long enough to do 1 muffler. Just a reminder for
those looking for a cheaper/easier to find solution. ;-)
