short engine run. I can hear it through the fender cooling slots FAR
more loudly than above the engine, so I know it’s not bearings and
such.<BR><BR>Anyone had fan interference issues? Did you have to shim
the shroud itself?<BR><BR>Lacking the VW tool, I eyeballed the front shroud
for concentricity, which always worked for me in the past.<BR><BR>Never had

face=Arial>Does the bottom rear? of the shroud clear the oil pump studs? Or the
oil pump parts themselves? Just asking, as I've had the stud problem before.<BR>
