You can add HD oil pumps if you check the clearance to the fan <br>
housing.<br>

Adding full flow oil filtering should be done via drilling and <br>
tapping the case. The oil filters which mount to the side of the oil <br>
pump just sit in the heat from the hot cooling air exiting the <br>
engine. Those are a bad idea for any VW engine.<br>
