If there is still voltage with <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10430">the wiper switch on, then the wiper isn't drawing any current, which <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10431">means that the problem is in the wiper switch, the wiring, or the <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10432">wiper motor. Be careful with the switch; they tend to come apart and <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10433">this might be your problem.<br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10434"><br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10435">Be extremely careful when working on the wiper motor. It can come to <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10436">life unexpectedly and take off a finger if it still has power, and it <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10437">still has power even with the wiper switch off. That's how it "parks" <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10438">itself when you turn the switch off.<br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10439"><br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10440">No, you should not try to force the wiper arms back down. If they are worn out, it's also likely that the <br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1478997316280_10445">wiper shafts are seized, or nearly seized, in their bushings.
