However, the tide is turning against diesel, and in polluted city areas, expect some level of control on diesel cars and vans, but the govt. Is passing it to local councils to decide what and how. Maybe in London the congestion charge may only affect diesel, or be more for them. Most cars will be charged <br>overnight. Presently in many areas, especially high population urban <br>areas, the power companies have way too much power at night, and have to <br>find ways to use it up or somehow cut back on production... very <br>difficult to do in some areas.
