I first pulled fuse #9 on my 73 where the radio is connected and it dropped from 8.6 mA to 4.85. Then I pulled the red /white from the VR to the fuse box no change . A while back I contacted Bosch and they didn’t have a schematic or even have a clue how it worked. </p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> It charges fine 14.2 VDC max yet this mA draw does not seem right. I put it in in 97 when no one sold the old style and the last original didn’t last very long. I realize the short trips I make in stop and go traffic don’t help and also heat has it’s affects as to self discharging.
