I think 15” blades would hit the rubber seal , 14” might work . Perhaps that’s why Dave Pallo had a problem .]]]<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This discussion prompted me to go out and look at Elwood, which is a April 1972 build. He is winter storage, which means he’s covered up, 10 feet up in the air, and no battery to initiate wiper travel - but I was able climb up and measure the passenger side wiper. His wipers are the all metal silver arms and nuts, and the passenger arm measures the same 12 13/16” in length. (It is too risky for me to try and measure the drivers side arm right now.) The blades are 14” (rubber prolly closer to 13.750” in reality). Jim has a great memory – the 15” wipers did hit the windshield rubber seal and the 14” wipers do not.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Maybe another factor here is I installed the windshield with an aftermarket seal. I used the correct seal with the provisions for the chrome accent trim all around the seal, and I wonder if the aftermarket seals may be a ~little~ wider that what the factory used?
