A 1 meter length of the banding for the heat exchangers is more <br>than $10! The buckles are cheap by comparison, and they are reusable (as <br>are our originals.) I'm guessing that I can get a local sheet metal shop to do <br>the bands in stainless for MUCH less than $10 each.<br><br>Plus the fact that 1 meter lengths will leave a lot of scrap, as that's maybe <br>50% more than it takes to make one band around a heat exchanger but not <br>enough to do 2 bands.
