If you do rapid pumping, as Dow Corning suggests, you'll get old dirty fluid <br>
out first, followed by a slurry of mixed old and new, then a bit of somewhat <br>
clear silicone, followed, at last, by Purple DoT-5. Then you're done.<br>

Yes, you're much better off not getting air in the system at all.<br>
