<div dir="auto">CIP prices vary, depending on the sale & discounts but the recent ones I bought cost a little over $200 for the set. I don't find them uncomfortable and really only lock up when you jerk on them. One thing that few people notice is how stiff the OE belts have gotten over <br>

I understand that everyone likes the more modern retracting belts, but I find <br>
that the constant tension tends to make them chafe against my neck. The <br>
'68-9 belts were a little harder to adjust and were actually the subject of a <br>
recall because then tended to loosen on their own. The recall added an <br>
extra little spring clip in the buckle to control this.<br>

I actually like the '70-1 belts the best. They work well, are easy to adjust <br>
once cleaned, and don't chafe my neck or shoulder.<br>

I have a couple complete '72-3 retracting front belt sets, but the chrome <br>
metal hardware is rusty. I believe I have offered the pair for $150. What does <br>
ISP or CIP ask for theirs?<br>
