This<br></div><div dir="ltr">Tranny has the Bus 3rd and 4th gear in it<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">For the Freeway flier as it did on the first build with no popping issues,<br></div><div dir="ltr">but he did change out the 4th due to minor damage from the sloppy bearing.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr"> <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Now I know that the old swing trannies would pop out when they wore out but<br></div><div dir="ltr">this is IRS, and nothing in there should be worn with less than 10Kmi on it,<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">So what could it possibly be? I have adjusted the linkage at the shifter<br></div><div dir="ltr">(moved the plate forward to make sure its pushed in properly) to no avail,<br></div><div dir="ltr">the rest of the linkage<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Is good although the guide bushing below the shifter is worn (as they<br></div><div dir="ltr">usually are).<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr"> <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">One clue may be that if I make note to get it in firmly it hasn't popped<br></div><div dir="ltr">out, and if its in for a mile, its in for 300miles, never pops out after the<br></div><div dir="ltr">first mile, so<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">What is SUPPOSED to hold it in gear?
