It certainly could be clutch judder - see if the clutch conduit (Bowden
outer) has the correct sag on it.  Sometimes the cable support bracket to
the transmission can be cracked and you lose the sag, which makes the back
end shake just as you've described.

Sounds like clutch stutter, my fastback does this on occasion if I'm less
than graceful with the pedals. I think mine is rooted in a mild main bearing
seal leak that I'm waiting on warmer temperatures to address..
