This is the site to help get your stock motor going again. There is a wealth
of help available here, so your decision on what to do with the car will be
based on IF YOU want to invest the time to see it thru and to search for
parts to get your T3 up and running again!

Since you are talking about a (single) carburetor, do you know if this car
has a type 3 or a type 1 engine in it?

Many T3's out there have had T1 engines put in them, and they always run
poor, overheat, and stick up into the trunk area thru a hole cut into the
engine cover. The single carburetor conversions on a T3 motor have always
seemed to be a pain in the butt to get running well, and they too stick up
into the trunk area. The early initial T3 engines had a factory single
carburetor, but to have that setup installed in a 73 would be a rare bird to
see.

The second thing that is important is if you still have the original factory
FI wiring harness still in the car?

All the components can be picked up either here or thru the Samba ads, but a
complete FI wiring harness will usually require more time to locate than the
FI components.
