[T3] starter bushing problem,

Yes, use a 1/2-13 tap to remove the old one. If the engine is in place,  
screw the tap in until it bottoms out, then keep turning and watch the old  
bushing come out. You'll need an old head stud or long bolt with a nut that  
fits the new bushing, and a hammer to "press" the new one in. I hope this  
helps.
