Hi all,

As Jim noted, my Fastback runs on electric.  The heater I have is actually 1500 watts (from a 300 volt battery pack) so it should do a decent job warming the car.  This heater is made specifically for electric cars (actually was originally designed for forklifts).  As Dave points out, Portland is not as cold as some places. I need the defrosting more than heating, so I can see where I'm going.

I looked into those little 300 watt heaters you plug into the cigarette lighter.  They are worthless...
