I have found a few things that I have needed out west and such, but I have
heard so much bad things about the shipping grey hound that I'm a bit
leery on using them. I need rear fenders for my 67, and I have only been able
to find them out west, but I don't want to get them smashed up. Both sets I
found were only willing to ship using greyhound. I haven't talked to them
yet to see if they would ship using someone else. I've been keeping my eye
open for something closer. I don't need them right away, just collecting
parts till I can get time to work on that one.

Part of the problem is that rear fenders are "oversize", and it costs twice
as much to ship them. It's just like shipping floor pans, as they're
"oversize" too. If you can get a pair from the same guy, then put both in the
same box, and either UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL them. Front fenders are real close
to the limit (especially the late 70 to 73). The early ones should be just
under the UPS limit. I know, as I've had late fenders shipped to me before
(via UPS).I've also had 2 Notchback rear trunk lids shipped to me. They both
came Fed Ex. My nearest greyhound is 60 miles away, so it doesn't pay to
ship it to me that way. Living in the "salt belt" doesn't help, when the
parts you need are on the west coast.
