[T3] Oooh that Smell!

I had that happen big time on my type 3 and didn't hear any untoward
exhaust noises either, but when I drove it to the shop to install the
new heat exchangers I had all the windows open and my head out the
window, the exhaust smell was so bad, and that was with the heater
valves closed!
Even back in the day (early 70's) I can remember changing several
heat exchangers for the same reason.
