Im interested in those heater boxes, if the outlet pipes where the muffler
clamps is still good. This happens pretty consistanly on turning at
intersections, its quite odd...

Thanks

Keith

I have several sets of good lightly used (Arizona) lower heat
exchangers here.

Regarding your observation, I'm wondering if what you had was a light
tail wind that blew exhaust under the car when you stopped, and then
blew it sideways and up into the air inlet louvers when you turned.
I've never noticed anything like this, but I suppose it could happen.
You'd have to approach intersections both upwind and downwind to test
this theory.
