I'm not sure if there's any difference at all. Looks like the H6024 
may have superceeded the H6017, although some catalogs now refer to 
it as the H6017/H6024. I haven't been able to find out what the 
difference might be, if any.

Examine the package. There should be 2 wattages listed. The highest 
one (high beam) should not be more than 65 W, or your electrical 
system will have trouble. 

Oh, and make sure they are 7" headlamps with hi/lo beams. More modern 
cars use 5" sealed beams, so those are what your FLAPS is more likely 
to have.
