[T3] Red Diesel

The "Red" in the diesel is a dye. It is for easy identification
purposes for off road/agricultural use. The federal road tax is not
applied/charged on that fuel. The dye is intended to provide easy
identification by Troopers for violations. The actual fuel is the same
from both pump handles. Imagine the lawsuits that would fly if the
fuels were different and an engine failed or was damaged.

No I haven't and I hope I never do. 8-p

I suspect it would void my Jetta warrantee, which demands a certain
grade of fuel.
