Keith,
These are the real MPG numbers from my engines:
1904cc w/40 webers 31mpg freeway/city
2110cc w/40 webers 29.5 mpg freeway/city
2332cc w/48 dells 28 mpg freeway/city and 31.5 mpg all freeway at 65mph

it can be done...
