Use a starter for an automatic - no front bushing needed as it has its own
integral front bearing.

Subject: [T3] snub-nosed starter help

my friend has bought a '71 sqbk with a seriously ''egged '' and deformed
starter bushing hole. no idea what the p.o. did or why.
is there any reason why we can't use a snub-nose starter on this car?
is there a ''best' rebuilder of this type of starter?
thanks.
