Re Wolfsburg, Germany....the mecca of VW...

Interesting that just about the only animal name that's the same in English and German is "wolf ".
  "Adolf", also interestingly, means "noble wolf".
 "Bug", on the other hand, is  "Insekt"
 And "Beetle" is  Käfer".      

 "Squareback" and "Hatchback" are probably some idioms that only a traveler will tell us about.   Please do.
