[T3] headlight relay and flasher

Check these links.  I used the relay referenced that can be wired for the
power-off flasher function.  It is the small cube style.

This is the hi/lo relay, right? That cylindrical case looks like the 
one VW used for 6 V earlier on. I didn't know there was a 12 V 
version. There was a large rectangle version used at least 68-70 that 
also has a clip on the top for mounting. I don't think grounding the 
case is necessary for it to work.  

I think I've got one of those here.

There is also a small cube version used in 914s and maybe type 4s 
that has a clip on the top. Beck Arnley used to supply those as 
generic replacements. They have a nice advantage: They get an extra 
hot wire and will flash the headlights when they are otherwise off, 
by just pulling back on the TS switch. They make a nice upgrade for 
any 12 V Type 3.

I don't have any spares of that version. I've been meaning to buy 
some so all my cars could have that feature.
