*JMHO ... but for the small amount of fuel that you "save" that my have
debris in it, I'd dispose of it.

Give it to a neighbor for his lawn mower.  It's only a gallon or two.

And if the tank screen or filter don't "catch" it, the fuel pump or
injectors (or needle valves) could be more trouble than a few bucks worth of
fuel.

Jim sold and installed his overflow hose "fix" kit.  Broken overflow hose
and it's position in back of the front right tire, it "really takes a
beating" with road debris.
