[T3] Question about door handle key set

Well, you got me wondering if I was crazy, so I checked the  microfilm 
and then went to look at my handle stash. My parts really are  
different, with different part numbers for left and right (just for  
the inner protrusion.) But then I realized that we may just be  
debating apples and oranges.  



I don't know about that (checking the microfilm), but that I just swapped  
them side for side, without doing anything to them. I did take the right 
handle  to the locksmith, to have a key made (I didn't get 1 with the car, and 
figured  it would have less wear on the lock), but that key works in both 
doors and the  ignition (1 key car like it's supposed to be). I actually have 
2 keys, as the  locksmith made me a spare, but you only need 1 key for the 
car.
