I have all the parts, inclusive or exclusive of the electronics.

The bore diameter is the same for all years, but the nose is longer 
starting in '72. This requires a different rubber elbow for the air 
cleaner. If you're not using the Bosch electronics, other than 
perhaps the injectors, which I would recommend, then you can use 
whichever year IAD fits your needs. The early ones take the more 
common elbow and lack some extra fittings that you probably don't 
need anyway (EGR, vac retard port, throttle dashpot, etc.)

You'll probably want to use a '70-1 MT IAD. It will have ports for an 
intake air temp sensor and a cold start valve (which you will 
probably block off.)
