5 lb.ft according to a manual I have, but I bet I don't do them that tight.
Probably no more than half that.

Subject: [T3] Torque

*I asked Jim A. if there was a torque spec for the 6, nuts that hold the oil
sump plate/gaskets/filter screen to the engine case. I searched the
Bentley book, but couldn't seem to find anything. Did I miss it?

Jim said: "I just use a small ratchet with a socket and put my hand around
the head of the wrench." That decreases the amount of torque you can apply.
But being the A/R that I am, I would still like to see and use a
specification.

Somebody told me "Just tighten them enough so it doesn't leak."

It must be inch pounds ... but what is it?
