[T3] great weekend drive

I don't even look at dwell, just make sure the points gap is right and the
timing is set and your fine. Ive seen untouched 007's out of spec too lean,
I have one in fact.

If its running fine with no hesitations Id be inclined to leave it BUT...
Ive driven quite a few cars where the owners though everything was fine but
they were way lacking on power and acceleration.

Problem is, IF its running too lean It may seem relatively OK but its when
your pulling a hill on the highway at 90 degree's out with your foot into it
That you melt a piston, mixture is critical to long life in our air cooled
engines.

No. Original epoxy in place. Coils tested properly for resistance a couple
months ago. Also held vacuum. I checked again tonight on the vacuum and it
still holds.

Also, dwell is within spec for used points, but it's 56. 2 pts shy of the
upper limit. Idle is fine. Timing is fine. So, does the dwell value mean
anything? Should I readjust to get it more near the middle of the
acceptable range instead of at one end?
