I'll certainly save the stub axles and all the bearings, spacers,
etc. Right now I'm trying to decide whether to save the spring plates
and the diagonal arms w/bushings.

Many years ago I worked on a car after someone else had messed up the
L diagonal arm. IIRC, they had the parking brake cable coming out
under the diagonal arm instead of over it. As a consequence, they had
not been able to get the diagonal arm pivot bolt back in, and it had
just been left out. Years of pushing against the body work had
deformed one of the bushings, so I couldn't just take things apart
and put them back together correctly.

I had to take the diagonal arm out, remove both bushings, replace
both bushings, and then install it correctly. To do that, I had to
get a pivot bolt and spacers from a junkyard. All in all, it was a
horrible job that took days of scrounging to finish, all because
someone else couldn't be bothered to do the job right in the first
place.

Because of that experience, I'm reluctant to throw away diagonal arms
with good rubber bushings.
