FYI, if you're talking about the leaking oil cooler leak, that can be 
fixed with the engine in the car. It's not easy, but I find it a lot 
simpler and faster than pulling the engine.

I frequently port the heads and do a 4 angle valve job on my stock FI 
rebuilds. It works fine. The other stuff, like full flow oil filter, 
swivel foot rocker screws, counterweighted crank, and balanced 
driveline, don't improve performance, but give improved reliability 
and longevity.
