[T3] Salt in Seattle?

[Mr Toadpipe]

Given that it only snows here an average of 2 days a year it should be easy
to avoid, and I think the city has a grand total of 3 trucks anyway.  I was
under the impression that most cities used salt, I'm guessing sand is the
norm?
