[T3] Newbie need some advice

I'm in the process of helping a friend restore his '79 VW Bug Convertable that has been in covered storage for 13 years.  It had a number of holes in the body that required a weld repair.  I suspect he will have about $11,000 dollers invested in the restoration before we are complete.
