No way no how, never use a straight weight that high, even on an old engine!
I wouldn't go above 10W40 on a good engine, but Im using 25W50 on my 130Kmi
engine and so long as it doesn't get cold its ok with that.

Whats more important is using an oil with the correct ZDDP in it, and
unfortunately the only one out that in dino oil is Pennzoil 25W50 racing
oil.  Brad penn makes a good semi synth 10W30 BUT... DON'T us it if you
don't have an oil filter
